This April we have initiated the "student-led assemblies" that was driven to us by our KG students, which showed tremendous skills in their leadership abilities.
We have officially initiated this throughout the school in an effort to involve them more in the community they are in, in order to enrich their confidence and to develop their skills from all sides and therefore to end up with impeccable leadership skills.
Furthermore, student-led assembly aims are not only to enhance the student's confidence, it is also to empower them mentally and physically by depending on them to prepare the assembly themselves and do all the work required to present it perfectly.
We at Diyar Dibba continuously strive for excellence to promote truly unique leaders in everyone through "Great generation....Prominent culture".
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our leadership Sheikh Saleh Al Sharqi in supporting our educational institution and all the leaders in all of the UAE for being excellent examples for our learners and our future.
At Diyar International Private School Dibba we encourage reading at all levels (like our mini books) and forms a huge part of our student learning.
This past Saturday the Arabic reading competition team successfully competed in the second round in Fujairah zone.
We would like to congratulate all our students that have participated thus far and read their 50 books (25 for non-Arabic) and remember that those that have not completed still have a chance in next year's competition by continuing their reading.
We thank our Arabic HOD Ms. Moza, Competition supervisor Ms. Huda Jad Al-Karim, assisted by Ms. Wafa and Ms. Amani Abu Qasim and also our school librarian Ms. Eman for their efforts towards building a "Great generation, Prominent culture".

Today was the day we received the big book, so what is this big book? you may ask, I was not sure but thought I better find out for myself. To my surprize it was a real big book, that learners from all over Fujairah would fill out to express their feelings about what reading means to them. We had learners from various grades come to fill out the spaces provided, it as amazing to see how they felt and how they could express these feelings in words, which for me is sometimes hard. This reminded me of similar concept that has also allowed us to celebrate our 'Young Authors' at Diyar International Private School last year, this for us was merely an extension to our activities that followed in helping our learners really express themselves and be heard.
We would like to thank the Fujairah Media Authority for allowing us an opportunity to be part of their initiative and extend an invite unto them to come to our celebration of 'Young Authors' on the 5th February 2017.

Every year Diyar International Private School - Dibba celebrates this month with our learners. One of the most auspicious months on the Islamic calendar embedded in the Emirati culture. Every morning the sounds of the Tahleel (saying Laa ilaaha ill-Allah), Takbeer (saying Allahu Akbar) and Tahmeed (saying Alhamdu Lillaah) are played throughout the hallways ensuring that our learners are starting their days of learning on a good note.
The Diyar Family would like to wish a Hajj Maqbool to all of our dear brothers and sisters who travelled to the house of Allah. Make the 5 Days of Hajj Easy for The Hujjaj & Make it Mabroor & Maqbool Hajj for all Pilgrims (Ameen).

In our first weeks of school Teachers and new staff members had a meeting that was targeted to new teachers and employees who got introduced to the Emirati culture from different aspects. during the meeting, couple of issues and topics regarding the culture were discussed to give new teachers an idea about the culture and the key values that people cherish in the Emerati society. The meeting was followed by a breakfast that included traditional Emirati cuisine. Teachers and other employees attended the meeting in traditional Emirati clothes to have a cultural and traditional vibe in the place and to let new employees feel closer to the culture.
